Stash Busting Crochet- Easy Crochet V-stitch Hat Pattern

I had a great time whipping up this Easy Crochet V-stitch Hat in multiple sizes. It was such a great feeling to use up lots of left over yarn I’d had for a long time.

Stashbusting Crochet- Easy Crochet Hat by Yarn Craftee

This easy crochet hat is the ultimate stash busting crochet project for every crocheter. Its easy, wavy design will make you want to crochet as many you can in as many colour combos.

If you are a family that likes to match your outfits, this is a good pattern to make, or you could make them for donation.

I really love this pattern and wanted to keep making them in as many colour combos as possible. Unfortunately, I had more lighter weight yarn that could not mix with the worsted weight used in the pattern. With one ball of yarn and small leftovers, I was able to make as many as five crochet hats (preemie to 3-6 months sizes)

The pattern is straight forward and easy to crochet with the repetitive colour changing rounds. Plus, you will only be working with only the crochet v-stitch throughout the pattern.

The sizes below are approximates. The width is measured from the middle of the hat, and bear in mind that with use the hat will stretch.

Tip– when working with the MC and about to join into the 1st st, always carry up the CC and hold it at the back of the stitch, then complete your join. This way, the colour changes at the wrong side will be neat.
